OMG!!!!!11 A New Wrens Tune?!?

First, who the fuck are The Wrens?  They’re the New Jersey band that had their album famously delayed for 7 years due to stupid bureaucratic record label bullshit.  Okay enough with the background and woe is me talk.  These guys have kept listeners waiting previously so hearing a new track, one would think, “Is this really a new track?”

Well yes they have put out a brand new track as apart of the Rock the Net compilation record.  The compilation boats tracks from several artists such as Wilco, David Bazan (shocker he’d be on this record), Aimee Man, and Portastic (who?  look them up) and The Wrens.  The track listing is below:

They Might Be Giants: “We Live in a Dump”
Aimee Mann: “31 Today”
The Wrens: “Sleep”
David Bazan: “Cold Beer and Cigarettes”
B.C. Camplight: “Soy Tonto”
Portastatic: “Hang Down Your Head”
Classic Brown: “Modulation”
Guster: “Timothy Leary”
Bright Eyes: “I Won’t Ever Be Happy Again”
Wilco: “Impossible Germany” (live)
Palomar: “Red”
David Miller: “Sunday Driver”
DJ Spooky: “Uganda”
Matthew Shipp: “New Orbit”
Free Form Funky Freqs: “Ties That Bind”
