NFL WEEK NINE
Week 8 recap:
The pretenders are beginning to separate in the NFL. I still don’t buy the Broncos and I think it’s gonna be a long Monday night for them coming up against the defending Super Bowl champions. They only scored seven points this past week. I told you they were toy.
My Giants are fading fast and trouble is brewing. No real surprise there. Philly looks like the strongest team in that division now.
Are the Houston Texans legitimate playoff contenders?
The Cowboys and Bears both had good showings but it’s irrelevant because they both played bad teams.
Now here’s this week’s picks:
Seattle Seahawks 23, Detroit Lions 13
New Orleans Saints 45, Carolina Panthers 8
Philadelphia Eagles 31, Dallas Cowboys 26
Tennessee Titans 23, San Francisco 49ers 15
New York Giants 27, San Diego Chargers 24
Baltimore Ravens 26, Cincinnati Bengals 23
Chicago Bears 33, Arizona Cardinals 17
Atlanta Falcons 27, Washington Redskins 17
Indianapolis Colts 34, Houston Texans 13
Kansas City Chiefs 14, Jacksonville Jaguars 10
Green Bay Packers 37, Tampa Bay Bucs 13
New England Patriots 38, Miami Dolphins 17
Pittsburgh Steelers 43, Denver Broncos 20
BYE WEEKS: Buffalo Bills, Cleveland Browns, Minnesota Vikings, New York Jets, Oakland Raiders, St. Louis Rams
Things to look for this week: I look for the Saints to rebound from that close game at home against the Falcons and take out their frustration on Carolina, who is a poor example of a football team and the perfect target. I look for the Patriots, Steelers, and Colts all to remain strong with good showings.
This is also the week I believe the NFC East will be decided in the PHI / DAL game, and I believe the Eagles will have the upper hand. Also look for the Packers to bounce back with a big win over an awful team.
More from me later this week…
